If you are the foreman of a construction site, or if you’re just doing construction on your property and you’re worried about thieves, you have good reason to be. Wireless Nightvision Security Camera for Added Protection

Filed Under (Home Electronics, Home Security, Security, Security cameras) by Fajar on 19-05-2008

A wireless nightvision security camera might seem like an extravagant security feature that your home does not need. Despite the fancy name this camera is a basic home security device that you can install and use to keep your property and your family safe.

The uses extend beyond simply surveillance. There are many different types of security cameras available but there are not many that give you the freedom to watch different areas of your house with minimal or no lighting. Wireless nightvision security cameras are also relatively easy to install and use.

Indoor Use

With small children in the house it can be difficult to keep a constant eye out for accidents. However with a wireless nightvision security camera you can have a high tech baby monitor. With a baby monitor you only get sound but with a wireless nightvision security camera you will be able to get visuals as well.

A great use for this would be if you were cooking dinner or trying to do the laundry and your children were playing in another room. Simply have a television or laptop in the room you are in and you can monitor your children from afar. The night vision comes in handy in dark bedrooms or a room where there’s only a night light and you want to make sure you’re kids are settled in for the night.

Outdoor Use

Using a wireless nightvision security camera is an excellent way to protect your property at the time when it is most vulnerable, at night. You can monitor anyone who comes to your front door at night with a wireless nightvision security camera. You can choose to make your camera be as conspicuous or as discreet as you like to either send a clear message or to covertly watch any intruders. A wireless nightvision security camera is also great to use on your car or any other vehicle that you might have parked outdoors.

Again the night vision factor is extremely useful as it allows you to make out a person clearly when the light levels are low. A camera without night vision is practically useless in times like this. You will be able to get good quality footage and in many instances you will also be able to get good audio. A good wireless nightvision security camera will also be weather proof and this makes it especially ideal for outdoor use.

A Guide To Security Camera Installation Skills

Filed Under (Home Security, Security, Security cameras) by Fajar on 02-03-2008

Advancement in technology has led to security camera installation skills being minimized to a great extent.  Simple instructions on the product manual suffice for initial installment of security cameras.  Basic security camera installation skills require knowledge of electrical and some amount of  hands on  experience in using cameras.

Basics Required for Proper Installation of Security Cameras

There are a few simple rules that will ensure that installation is proper.  The first is that all video camera equipment should be on the same phase of the electrical supply.  While selecting a circuit to supply power to the equipment, use a dedicated circuit which will not have any interference of other electrical equipment.  Avoid any panel with an outside circuit, for example garden light poles receiving their power supply from the panel are often exposed to nearby lightening strikes or direct strikes.  Such surges in the power supply will damage the equipment.

You can’t be at all places at all times and if you have property that is valuable to you, you may want to keep an eye on it at all times. How can you do that, however, when you can’t be on your property constantly? You can install security cameras which will reveal to you anyone who tries to break in or steal or damage your property. Video footage from a security camera is great evidence to show the police so that the perpetrators can be caught. If nothing else, a well placed security camera will deter potential burglars who will go onto a property that is less protected.
