Hewlett-Packard or HP as it is commonly known today is a company that started in a small garage way back in 1938. Two Stanford graduates had a dream to make things better for the world they lived in and together they built an empire to realize it. There is an interesting tale regarding how they named this company. It seems they were arguing on whose name should be kept first – Hewlett-Packard or Packard-Hewlett. They could not come to an agreement and decided to toss for it!

The Birth of a Giant
